The USFOS program has been verified through participation in extensive benchmark activities both in Europe and in the US, through comparison with experiments and through extensive scientific publication. SINTEF has been instrumental in establishing a joint EU initiative for large-scale 3D Frames testing as partner in Frames project with BOMEL ltd. of the UK. The formulation is verified against 2D and 3D frame test data, with excellent agreement.
